Goal: Learn and use Hindi words for travel and directions.

You’ll learn: Simple Hindi for places, asking directions, saying where things are, and understanding travel words.

Warm-up (30 seconds): Imagine you’re in India! Can you spot a bus, a road, or a sign? Point and say the English words aloud!

Mission: Practise travel and direction words in Hindi with fun examples and activities.

Practice exercises:

  1. Say “bus” and “road” in Hindi, out loud.
  2. Ask a family member “Where is the shop?” in Hindi.
  3. Point right and say “दाएँ” (daayen), then point left and say “बाएँ” (baayen).
  4. Draw your “home” and “school” and label them in Hindi.
  5. Make up a short sentence using “आगे” (aage).
