Goal: Retell a short story in Hindi and check your understanding with a quiz.

You’ll learn how to listen to a mini story, pick out key words, retell it in simple Hindi, and answer questions like a pro.

Warm-up (30 seconds): Imagine you are a detective! Can you spot the main words in a story?

Mission: Practise your Hindi by listening, retelling, and quizzing yourself with a mini story.

Practice exercises:

  1. Say “Dog is happy” in Hindi.
  2. Find and say two words for “to play” and “to run” in Hindi.
  3. Retell the story: “In the morning, the cat sees a red apple.”
  4. Write the Hindi word for “friend” and use it in a sentence.
  5. Say “We go home” in Hindi.
