Phase 1: JL (UK Hindi Samiti) – Spoken Confidence & Sounds — Part 6 of 48

Goal: Practise using Hindi greetings in different situations.

You’ll learn: How to say hello, goodbye, good morning, good night, thank you, and respond in Hindi.

Warm-up (30 seconds): Stand up and greet the person next to you in your best Hindi voice!

Mission: Let’s play and review what we know about Hindi greetings.

Practice exercises:

  1. Say “नमस्ते” to three friends or family members today.
  2. Write “शुभ प्रभात” on a sticky note and give it to someone in the morning.
  3. Use “धन्यवाद” when someone helps you.
  4. Say “शुभ रात्रि” before going to bed tonight.
  5. Practise “कैसे हो?” and reply with “मैं ठीक हूँ” with a partner.
