Goal: Practise counting from 1 to 10 in Hindi while having fun!

You’ll learn to say, read, and understand Hindi numbers 1–10, use them in sentences, and play a counting game.

Warm-up (30 seconds): Clap your hands as you count from 1 to 10 in English, then in Hindi!

Practice exercises:

  1. Count from 1 to 10 in Hindi, out loud.
  2. Write the numbers 1 to 5 in Hindi script.
  3. Say how many books or toys you have, using a Hindi number.
  4. Match the Hindi number to the English word (make your own cards!).
  5. Play a game: Someone says a number in English, you say it in Hindi.
